Adults train free the first time — no contracts, no experience needed. Wear comfortable clothes and arrive ten minutes early. Children begin with a paid assessment class, which Sensei Avi schedules personally by phone: (310) 463-2385. Students may train in more than one program — adult Jiu-Jitsu runs directly after adult karate on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Program Placement

Which class is right for you?

Whether enrolling a child for their first martial arts class or starting as an adult, training is structured to ensure every practitioner receives age-appropriate, technique-focused instruction alongside peers at their skill level.

Youth & Children: Children can start as young as age 6. Youth students begin with a paid assessment class scheduled personally by Sensei Avi, where they are placed into their proper belt group — White & Yellow, Orange to Purple, or Brown & Black. This ensures every child trains with peers on the exact same step of their journey.

Adult Practitioners: Adults choose between our Beginner track (Tuesday & Thursday 7:45–8:45pm) and Advanced track (Monday & Wednesday 7:45–8:45pm). No prior experience or physical conditioning is required before starting. Every adult karate class is taught personally by Sensei Avi.

Multi-Program Training: Students are welcome to train in more than one discipline. For instance, adult Jiu-Jitsu runs directly after adult karate on Mondays and Wednesdays (8:45–9:45pm), allowing adults to practice both striking and submission grappling in a single evening.
